Strats, Tactix, etc. for WoT

  • Desmo,

Can't speak for others, but I keep several level 2's mostly for the reasons you mentioned. I play em for the fun mostly. Initially my plan was to use em as a way to train the crew for eventual transfer to later "keeper" machines, but I found they are a nice change of pace from grinding the higher tanks up the tech tree. As moneymakers they don't really pull in the cash like some of the bigger tanks, though........... at least for me. :(

Disclaimer: These thoughts, opinions and observations may be total bullshit.

  • I keep Tier 2's just for fun, mainly for the auto cannon's on the tanks, always fun to play with the pop guns. The T2 Light Tank is also one of the funnest tanks in the game, it is a blast to go 72 km/h flying through a level spraying rounds all over (not to mention it is very easy to get top gun with).

  • The German TD's are a blast for me too. The cash just rolls in. :)) Currently rocking the Stug and should be moving up to the next TD shortly............ equiped with 3 sets of binoculars, of course.

  • So I got my first tank to 100: Stug III. If I work half on repair and half on camo would that work? Or more simply, how does crew training work?

  • Thanks Roid! It works. If camo is at 100 can i work on another one? So that my crew can do repair and camo or can I only use one skill at a time?

They take the mean average of the crew, so if you have 4 crew members, only 2 of them are 100% in camo, and the other 2 are 100% in repair, you are only 50% effective in each category.....

  • You can train each crewmember for 3 skills and they all are in effect. As you go along it takes more and more experience to raise the training level.

  • Hey guys. Im just going to go with this thread as the question thread because it says "Additional stuff"
I got a Stug III and T34. Working down those lines. Is getting a third worth it? I can get a KV in like a 2 hours of hard work. I plan to play this game until BF3.

I'm thinking it will just be a waste of time. What about you guys?

  • Too late. I already spent my free xp on my beloved Stug.

Ghost there are two reasons why I play this game.
    1. A break from bc2
    2. Kick bulldog's ass

I am alternating between Medal of Honor Limited Edition and BC2.

Also, I pre-ordered Duke Nukem Forever and will pick up at my local Game Stop on June 14. This will provide me lots of alternates until BF3.

The only time I had any fun with WOT was when Roid and BullDog and I were able to squad up and play in the same maps together.
Just not my type of game TBH. :?
