  • More info on the Back to Karkand expansion..

"There's a lot of destruction in BF3, but the Karkand map pack, when you play it, it's a different level, even more so than in BF3, of destruction in there," he told us. "So I think people are really going to like that, and see it as something fresh. When you play Karkand, it's just crazy the amount of destruction that goes on in there. And that's a deliberate decision by the small team who made the pack, to really dial that up and make it even more prominent than it is in the Battlefield 3 'vanilla' experience."

  • I have considered this. But there are a few reasons why I'm not sure.

I don't really get a lot of time to game. Plus if I do, I know I will waste a lot of life on it. Also.. I can be very impatient. I like a full-on bloodbath. That is, I love it when my back is against the wall and have to fight my way out.

I am unsure of tactics in this game, unlocking weapons and a bunch of stuff. I haven't really ever played BF2 seriously when I had it. It annoyed me. That's the truth. But I am open, but will need a lot of training if I do go for it.!

  • Yeah what Termi is talking about is the total devastation of all vegetation and buildings so the damn Wookies have no place to hide. The Lawnmower effect is not to be had in BF3. :?

Maybe it's just me, but I really don't like the "City" maps. They just don't feel "right" to me.
Caspian and the others which have the Shipping Containers as a prominent feature with the Warehouses, those are cool. But that inner city just doesn't set with me.

  • Just wondering if I've got the right gear for this game or not. Thinking I might give it a go, but may need to build the new pc. Below are my specs from some time ago. I'm back to a QX6700. The 6850 bit the dust.

If you're using a lighter php forum style, might be hard to read that.

  • You can more than likely play it Shaggy, I would hesitate to completely say that your gonna be running in max resolution though, and just to let you know, I have been reading on some reviews that the 200 series have been having artifact problems, so I dunno how your 8800's are gonna react....I would definitely keep AA and HBAO off
