I think, I picked the wrong side. Don't get me wrong, my 980Ti is a beast. But little things keep me bugging me.

1] Intel announcing their support of Freesync/Adaptive-sync over Gsync.
2] Freesync monitors being cheaper (and now more effective with the new firmware).
3] Radeon's apparent higher performance in DX12 vs GeForce.
4] Microsoft's plan to port more games from XBone to PC vs PC to XBone.
5] While Nvidia controls the dGPU market at 80%+, AMD is in all the consoles.
6] AMD drivers seem to increase performance with age (example, R9 290X) vs. Nvidia which will freeze optimizations (example, Kepler).
7] Radeons don't need an ugly bridge for multi-gpu.
8] Like, I pointed to above. Currently, Crossfire scales better than SLi.
9] Nvidia has better DX11 performance & better (lower) power consumption.
10] Can sell my Classified Ti for more than I paid for it and perhaps purchase two Fury(s).

I guess we'll see. I think you might just be caught in a bad upgrade cycle.

I'm waiting on Pascal. I've enjoyed 970-like performance from my 780s since summer 2013.

Impressive. How did the pipe bending go? That and custom wires is what I'm really interested in for a new build.

I masturbate more than the usual adult male, so pipe bending was easy for me  .

I still think it would be fun and more forgiving to do an acrylic or PETG hard tube build.

For custom cables, you can do your own with MDPC-X Sleeve, http://www.caselabs-store.com/mdpc-x-sleeve/ . Have someone else to it for you, with custom lengths like http://ensourced.net/ . Or buy replacement cable sets, from CableMod (EVGA, Corsair & Seasonic) http://www.performance-pcs.com/cablemod ... ement-set/ .
CableMod does have new colors and materials coming in the next few months.

Originally, I had planned to get custom length copper colored Ensourced cables for my Seasonic 860XP2. But, I got a fantastic deal on an EVGA 1000P2. So I replaced the old CMPSU-1000HX with the 860XP2 in my server and got some CableMod replacement cables for the 1000P2.

Changed out my dual D5 pumps for an Eheim pump and also changed the routing of the tubing.

I sold my 980Ti Classy and had enough cash to pick up two 980s, 1xKingpin and 1xClassified. Both overclocked to 1491mhz SLi stable, though my Classy is holding my Kingpin back. I got the 980 Classy back in November for $360 after rebate and then picked up the slightly used 980 Kingpin w/block and all its accessories in December, from OCN for $400.
