  • LOL @ the Norton popup.

BD's got Roid-like determination in this game. He clocks in a lot of hours and owns everything!

BD- Still getting the blackouts? They need to get you guys some new drivers. I take it you're using the ones from July 19th?

Yea I am still working off of those, the funny thing is, most of the drivers when I first install them they are good for about a week and then it starts back up with the black flashes, I check for temp's too and its not that, the card is WELL within the margin for error, I think the max I have ever seen out of it was 65

Drivers don't go bad like bananas. Sounds more like an intermitten heat or power issue. But you just put in that Corsair 650, which you should be good with. And your temps look fine. Idk.. that's weird.

Maybe software running in the background conflicting with that driver set?

  • I ran the Windows -update. Somehow the game also got better. I also.....rewind.....>>......I installed new nVidia drivers. Much like You say, it worked for a while...then Black stuff appeared and sometimes it all went black. I started to worry bout the PSU and even the GTX275 vid card. At the time I had not updated Windows/system from Win-update for a long time. After a major update things work OK! again. Its my thoughts in this matter. Knock on wood, hope it stays like this for some time now.
