911 - we have not forgotten

Battlefield 2

  • We have not forgotten.

We may be hundreds or thousands of miles away from our brothers and sisters in the USA, but we have not fogotten.

Many of us watched the live broadcasts at the time, and we have not forgotten.

America and Europe have lost hundreds of young lives in the fight against terrorism since 911, but we have not fogotten.

Indeed we should never forget. Some of us who witnessed it live around the world cannot forget.

Remember each other, in all things, forever. That way there may be hope that we will, one day, learn from past mistakes and leave a better, more peaceful world to our children and our children's children.

Peace my friends, wherever you are, and whatever country you are from.

  • I wouldn't be surprised how quickly people forget Termy... You have people who still think the halocaust never happened, and the younger generation that think the cold war and WWII was eons ago so that makes it not important when it was less than 65 years ago for WWII as we all know, and the cold war was less than 30 years.

I support the troops in the middle east and I hope all that can, can come home safely. While we think about that, lets celebrate the effort put on by all of our american troops and civilians for the life of the US.

  • We had a very poignant ceremony Friday morning here at Hickam. The PACAF commander gave a few words and there was a C-17 flyover. It was a nice remembrance and it was appropriate that a light rain was falling while we were in formation.

Take some time today away from all the college football, or whatever it is you're doing, and use that time to remember.
