  • The reality of a a gaming name boils down to this................... whatever name you choose is gonna get shortened to one or occaisionally two syllables in everyday use.

    GhostofVienna = Ghost
    CrimsonGhost = Crim
    Foomster = Foom
    Desmolocke = Des or Desmo
    Terminator = Term or Termy
    OGT = Ogey

    etc etc.

  • - Bomber, you could be -=USMC*Bomber=-, or MC-Bomber, or just keep it what it is? I don't know. I chose the gaming name of Blood in 1996, simply because one of my kids, when I was in Idaho bought a shooter game called "Blood". We played it in Family Frag Fests, along with Duke Nukem Atomic Edition (RoCkEt PaCks!!!). So we started using game names, even though we just played over Serial Ports at that time and were all in the same house!...
    So when we grabbed the old game of Red Faction and started the online gaming thing, the name stuck and I added "donor" to the name for a while until I joined a clan and shortened it to just "BLood"

    - Roid, on a spat of nostalgia -
    One of the girls I work with had on a t-shirt from the Red Cross one day last week. Across the front it was printed "Blood-Donor" in bright red letters, and under that of course it read "Be nice to me, I gave my blood today."

    Made me think of Pre- (TOXIC) days and all the shizzarolla we've been through together in the gaming climate.

  • :D Well I think that name of yours in game is Excellent!

    I got my name from the familiar movies character. TERMINATOR, got into my heart from the first movie back in 1984. Im a Sci-Fi LOVER and Arnold Schwarzenegger did so well personalise that invinsible "Warrior" I wanted to be be when I got online first time in my life, 2003 Dec, and met ROID in the SOF2 server BLOODRAVE. Ever after that I´ve gone from not knowing anything about online gaming to be a Daily online player...at 45 years age. (Today) :shock:

    MarineBOMBER is a keeper if U like it. :P
