Looks like they're been working on this for the past couple of years and now that Monolith and WB Games has acquired the "FEAR" name back from Activision, they're looking to put forth a sequel. From the trailer it doesn't seem that much has changed, maybe just a facelift for the old one with new weapons and maps... but if your a fan of the old one, that's not a bad thing Although they had to give the last one away to get people to play it, i hope they're uping the ante this time.

So i adopt my usual pre-release game mindset: Wait and see and cross your fingers it doesn't suck.

Release date: Feb. 10, 2009 according to IGN.

Hmm, I might be worth check it out. I hope they have some sort of demo version so we can roadtest it before cutting loose the currency.
